About The Romero Clan of Antique, Philippines
Please sign in to see more. The Romero clan of the province of Antique in the Philippines owes its origins to its common ancestor, Wenceslao Romero, who was born in 1855 in Carrion de los Condes in the province of Palencia, in the region of Castile and Leon (Castilla y Leon), Spain. In 1878, after finishing his studies at the Colegio de Valladolid (now Universidad de Valladolid) in Valladolid, Spain, he was assigned by his superiors to the Philippines -- first in the province of Capiz, and then to Antique (pronounced as "an-ti-ke"). This is where his life's journey began, and of his descendants, whose genes are now spread out to different parts of the Philippines and the world. |
